As an unpowered natural exhaust device, natural ventilator is widely used on the roofs of large workshops and factories without human operation and no electric energy for 24 hours. However, many continuous rooflight is connected between the drainage channel and the flooding plate of each unit. The gap at the location is usually sealed by silica gel. The silicone joint will inevitably expand and contract if temperature changes. The temperature difference in different seasons will continuously cause the shrinkage and expansion of the steel plate in the gap; silica gel is a chemical material, which will be prone to aging and cracking. This kind of sealing method is easy to loose and damage to leak out the gap again, and it is not easy to maintain after a long time. The gap at the joint of the flashing plate at both ends is not easy to seal. If the above gap is not sealed, it will cause water leak. 

In order to solve the above problems, Mcwell developed full-structure waterproof technology. The features of full-structure waterproof smoke ventilator is that it is composed of several interconnected ventilator units and end plates. The ventilator unit includes a supporting column, an arc frame, a rain plate, an outer guard plate, a drainage groove, and a diversion. It is composed of pipe and flashing board. The drainage groove is in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with an open upper end, on which there is a diversion pipe connection port, and also includes a connecting piece. The connecting piece is composed of a cuboid-shaped top plate, and two short sides of the top plate are provided with upward folds and items. The two long sides of the board are formed by downward two-side plates, and the connecting pieces are buckled on the side walls of the drainage grooves of adjacent ventilator units through the two-side boards.
