For Strong Acidic Environments, Which Anti-corrosion Method Should Be Adopted For Roof Vents?

Release time:

For the strong acidic environment such as hydrofluoric acid, the anti-corrosion solution of roof vents, Mcwell recommends two common  paint treatment solutions:

First, two coats of epoxy high-performance paint are used for the primer, with a film thickness of more than 180µm, and two coats of acrylic polyurethane topcoat are used for the topcoat, with a film thickness of more than 80µm. The anti-corrosion ability can reach more than fifteen years.

The second is that two coats of epoxy high-performance paint are used for the primer, and the film thickness is more than 180µm, and the top coat is three coats of fluorocarbon paint, and the film thickness is more than 120µm. It can ensure the anti-corrosion ability for more than 20 years.

Roof vents can adopt paint anticorrosion scheme in normal environment. Ordinary two-bottom and two-sided paint has a slightly lower cost than hot-dip galvanizing scheme, especially when the roof purlin is painted anticorrosive. The same anti-corrosion scheme can also be adopted for the frame natural ventilator. Ordinary paint generally uses two anti-rust primers (red lead primer or gray anti-rust primer) and two top coats.
