As a professional smoke vents manufacturer, Mcwell has strict operating procedures for the installation of ridge ventilator. Mcwell will introduce the installation of natural vent and related steps for your reference.

1. Before installing the ridge ventilator, check whether the opening size and the base specifications are consistent with the frame specifications according to the technical submission, and whether it meets the installation requirements of the ridge ventilator.

2. Check whether the roof opening is well closed. After the installation requirements are met, lay protective blankets in the operation area and the material stacking area.

3. Installation of natural ventilator skeleton

The ventilator frame is welded or bolted to the ventilator base. After the frame is installed, the frame should be corrected. The vertical deviation should not be greater than 15mm. The spacing between the two core frames should be parallel to the roof purlin, and the error should not be greater than 15mm.

4. Installation of rainproof board

The rainproof board has been installed from bottom to top. The upper end should be tightly sealed with the top of the frame board. The overlap of the rainproof board should not be less than 200mm, and the overlap should be on the frame. One side of the center line is 100mm, and shall not be suspended and overlapped.

5. Installation of flashing plates on both sides

The overlap of the flooding should not be less than 200mm, and the metal components of Mcwell's full-structure waterproof technology should be used for fixing. The fixing on the bracket should be firm and reliable. The place where the plate is connected by rivets should be tightly fastened and kept in good condition. 

6. Installation of the end flashing plate

The overlap between the end flooding and the roof slab shall not be less than 200mm. After installation, the appearance should be ensured to be beautiful. The flooding plate should be fastened tightly at the intersection of the crest and trough of the roof and the gap shall not be greater than 3mm.

7. Installation of outer guard plate

The outer guard plate should be installed from the lower end to the upper end. Nylon head tapping screws are used to fix the outer guard plate and the frame.

8. The installation of the edge-receiving piece and the tie rod

The installation of the edge-receiving piece and the tie rod should be beautiful and firm.

9. After the continuous rooflight is installed, do internal and external sanitation and paint repair work.

After the natural ventilator is installed, spray paint on the color steel plate of the ventilator (the color of the paint is the same as the color of the color steel plate), wipe clean the dusty place, and put all waste materials on the ground (not directly from the roof Throw down).
