According to the literal interpretation, the window height of low-profile ventilator is not high. Compared with streamlined roof vents, the overall appearance looks very thin, so it is called light-weight natural ventilator. It  has become one of the popular window types for most business owners because of their low height, low drag coefficient and good wind resistance. 

"Thin type" only means that the height is low compared to large natural ventilator. It does not mean that the lower the better, because the roof vents installed in the factory are mainly used to satisfy the ventilation and smoke exhaust of the factory, and there is no height space. Ventilation and smoke exhaust effects cannot be reflected. Low-profile ventilator also requires a large width and height of ventilation space. If the height of natural roof ventilation is too low, it cannot have good ventilation functions.

The structural space is relatively small. When choose thin roof ventilator, it is necessary to consider whether the opening and closing valve plate and the transmission device is easy to use for maintenance and repair. At the same time, it is also necessary to consider the local wind and snow load. In the case of meeting normal ventilation and smoke exhaust and normal wind and snow load, avoid choosing large-size materials, which will cause unnecessary waste. With its low height and good wind resistance, thin roof ventilators are often used in areas with multiple typhoons.
