Also known as cold galvanizing in the electro-galvanizing industry, it is the process of using electrolysis to form a uniform, dense, and well-bonded metal or alloy deposition layer on the surface of the part. The surface quality of electro-galvanized is brighter than that of hot-dip galvanizing, but its coating is only a few microns thick, and its corrosion resistance is poor, and it is often not as good as some paint anti-corrosion treatments.
