Which Temperature Range Can Mcwell Series FRP Lighting Panels Be Used In

Release time:

1. The temperature resistance limit of MCWELL series FRP daylighting board is -40℃~120℃; in this temperature range, FRP daylighting board can be used safely and normally. If it exceeds this range, FRP daylighting board will still be usable, but the service life will be Decline in varying degrees.

2. Continuously heating the daylighting panel under non-open flame conditions, there is no obvious change in FRP before reaching 150℃, and there is no obvious change in the color of the daylighting panel when it exceeds 150℃ and reaches about 175℃, but the daylighting panel is slightly soft. At this time, is the thermal deformation temperature of the FRP daylighting board.

3. When the temperature reaches about 200℃, the FRP daylighting board will slightly change color, and the film covered on the surface will have tiny blisters; when it is heated continuously, when it reaches about 400℃, the resin will be carbonized and the appearance will become brownish yellow.  Continuous heating, carbonization becomes more serious, the color changes from brown to darker and black; when the temperature exceeds 600 ℃, the resin is completely carbonized and burned completely,

leaving only the residue of glass fiber.

4. General-purpose FRP daylighting panels are flammable materials. Usually, when a fire occurs, the general flue gas temperature will not cause damage to the FRP daylighting panels. Only when a large open flame occurs at the edge of the daylighting panels, the daylighting panels will burn rapidly.

5. Flame-retardant daylighting panels, after heating under non-open flame conditions, will have the same characteristics as ordinary daylighting panels, but they are more prone to yellowing than ordinary daylighting panels. Under open flame conditions, secondary flame-retardant daylighting panels will It burns slightly when it comes to an open flame. It will self-extinguish soon after being separated from the fire source. The first-level flame-retardant daylighting board is more difficult to burn when encountering an open flame than the second-level flame-retardant, and it is easier to extinguish after being separated from the fire source than the second-level flame-retardant.
