For natural ventilator's design, smoke vents manufacturer shall ensure safe, reliable and continuous operation under the permitted conditions of use of the equipment. Its design should also follow relevant design requirements.

1. The structural layout of natural roof ventilation is reasonable

The roof natural ventilator should ensure a reasonable structural layout, with unobstructed air flow, no obvious dead-angle areas for ventilation, and low ventilation resistance; the windshield layout is reasonable, has a good wind shelter effect, and can effectively prevent outdoor air backflow; and must have reliable measures to prevent rain and snow from penetrating to ensure that the natural vent does not penetrate into the room under any weather conditions, affecting the normal use of the ridge ventilator.

2. The firmness of body requires to meet local wind and snow loads

The natural ventilation system should be safe and reliable, able to withstand the local wind load and snow load, and will not affect the normal operation of the natural vent. At the same time, the natural roof ventilation should meet the relevant local seismic regulations. The selection and determination of wind load value and snow load value shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations in the national wind and snow load standards.

3. The opening and closing valve plate of the  should meet the requirements

The opening and closing valve plate of the steel roof ridge vent should have good rigidity, air flow performance, light transmittance and airtightness, and the amount of air leakage is small. When the valve plate is fully closed in winter, it can withstand the influence of heat pressure and the amount of air leakage is not easy to be too large.
