Streamlined natural vent has a good ventilation function. Compared with roof louver vent, streamlined ridge ventilator has greater ventilation and air exchange. It is very necessary to install such natural ventilator for high-temperature and high-heat workshops. Mcwell has successfully completed many steel roof ridge vent projects. Mcwell will introduce the construction steps of the streamlined natural ventilation system:
(1) Determine the error range of the connection point between the
natural vent and the roof
Before installing the streamlined ridge ventilator, first check whether there is any error in the foundation, and correct it immediately if there is any error. After judging that the foundation of the roof ridge vent is correct, check the error of the connection point between the foundation of the steel roof ridge vent and the roof foundation to ensure that the error is not greater than 3mm before proceeding with construction.
(2) Assemble the skeleton
Each
steel roof ridge vent is equipped with a different number of wall frames according to the length, and is roughly installed on the roof steel base with a unit or special unit every 3 meters. The foot of the ridge ventilator and the foundation adopt special connectors. Before fixing, install the two adjacent wall brackets at the specified position, and then measure the error. The linear distance error between the two wall brackets and the base and the error of the home should be <=3mm.
(3) Install the flashing board
The flashing plate is installed inside the frame of the natural ventilator, and the connecting frame is connected with the self-drilling screws. The average distance between the self-drilling screws is between 45~50cm. The junctions between the flashing plates are connected by rivets, and the rivet distance is about 30mm. Rivets should be applied to the overlap of the wave crests of the flooding board and the roof profiled board, and the rivets should be protected by waterproof glue.
(4) Install rain shield
The rain shield needs to be connected to each wave peak and trough with a tail screw, and the rain shield and the connecting rod are also required to be drilled at the overlap. There should be no gap between the joints of every two rain shields, and if it is necessary, use drill screws to make them smooth and bridge them.
(5) Install the sink
The sink is one of the diversion systems of the
roof ridge vent, including the water collection trough and the water collection trough. Attention should be paid to putting waterproof glue on the joints of the water collection tank to prevent water leakage during the rainy season. Rivets should be used to connect the water collection trough and the water collection trough, and waterproof glue should be applied.
(6) Install ridge tiles
When installing the ridge tiles of the streamlined smoke ventilation, pay attention to the problem of cavities. If there are cavities, apply waterproof glue. Rivets are used to fix the ridge tile and the rain plate, and of course waterproof glue is also applied to it.
