The streamlined natural ventilator is a good ventilation device. It can reflect the importance of the ridge ventilator. Therefore, the maintenance of the steel roof ridge vent is particularly critical. Let's discuss how to maintain it.

(1) The streamlined natural ventilator has been working for about a month. We need to inject calcium sodium-based grease or molybdenum disulfide grease into the bearings with lubricantion. If the smoke vent skylights operate continuously for 3 months to half a year, the grease needs to be changed once. It is advisable to cover 2/3 of the bearing space.

(2) The steel roof ridge vent needs regular maintenance to eliminate dust and dirt inside the ridge ventilator.

(3) During the start-up, shutdown or operation of the smoke vent rooflight, if an abnormal environment is found, including temperature, vibration, noise, etc., an inspection should be carried out immediately.

(4) The ridge ventilator uses the adjustment device to keep the triangular tape in a well-proportioned state, and it should not be too loose or too tight. The length of several triangle tapes should only be same.

(5) To deal with unused standby machines or fans that have been out of service for a long time, the rotor should be rotated by 120°-180° regularly to prevent the main shaft from bending. Add a valve to the inlet or outlet of the smoke vent rooflight, close it when starting, and open the valve after operation until it reaches the specified working condition, and the inner ring and the shaft are tightly tight.
