Steel roof ridge vent is installed and completed by individual components, including skylight frame, outer guard plate, rainproof plate, valve plate and so on. How to install the metal building ridge vents? If the installation technology is not in place, it is likely to cause a series of problems such as water leakage of the skylights. Therefore, the installation of ridge ventilator needs to be operated by a professional skylight installation team.

1. Check the basic size and make it meet the following requirements:

2. On the foundation, the plane height difference should not be more than 3mm, and the diagonal deviation should not be more than 5mm. 

3. Draw the basic line. 

4. Bracket installation and straightening. The corner holes of the foundation and the support are drilled and fixed with anchor bolts. 

5. Install horizontal frame and flashing plate. 

6. Install the longitudinal frame (including the longitudinal diagonal brace) and adjust the verticality of the horizontal frame. The upper and lower deviation is not more than 5mm.

7. Install the middle beam, drive shaft and reducer. The installation location should be reasonable. The base bolts of the reducer and motor must be tightened to prevent vibration from falling off. 

8. Install the valve plate. After the valve plate is closed, tightness is required. 

9. Install drainage ditch and drainage ditch joints. It is required to be tight and not leaking. 

10. Install the rain shield. The lower edge of the rain shield should be overlapped on the drainage ditch to prevent water leakage. 

11. Install the drainage trough bracket and drainage trough. The drainage groove and the drainage ditch overlap should be reasonable, so that all the water in the drainage ditch can flow into the drainage groove. 

12. Install the cable card. The requirement does not affect the opening and closing of the valve plate. 

13. Install the peripheral guard plate and the end face guard plate. Self-tapping bolts are used to connect the guard plate and the transverse frame. 

14. Install the access door. Strict requirements are required after the door is closed. 

15. Install the capping plate joint and the capping plate and seal them. It is required that the capping board and joints be overlapped on the rain shield. 

16. Install anti-bird nets. 

17. Install the steel wire rope and lock it with a buckle. 

18. Install travel switch and electric control box. The installation position of the travel switch should be reasonable.
