The steel roof ridge vent is a modern large-scale industrial plant. The applications of relatively large spaces such as energy, electricity, logistics and warehousing are very obvious. The use of natural ventilation is a more economical way for industrial plants. So, what is the structural composition of the ridge ventilator? As a professional smoke vents manufacturer, Mcwell will introduce them.
1. Skeleton
The skeleton of the ridge ventilator is generally made of hot-dip galvanized hollow steel, and it usually exists as the support and installation fulcrum of the steel roof ridge vent.
2. guard plate
The guard plate of the smoke vent rooflight is also called the peripheral plate, which is generally made of colored profiled steel plates, and plays a role of windproof and protection of the internal structure in the roof gas building.
3. Waterproof board.
Rainproof board usually is made of light-permeable FRP board, which can play a good role in wind and rain protection.
4. Drainage channel
Drainage ditch, also called drainage ditch, is made of profiled steel plate, which can well realize the function of diversion and water diversion in rainy or snowy weather such as rain or melting ice and snow.
5. Valve plate
The valve plate is generally made of a conforming profile plate or a light-transmitting FRP plate. However, sometimes in order to make the light transmission effect of the plant better, some corporate customers will also use FRP daylighting panels with good light transmission effects. (Note: The open-roof gas building does not need to pretend the valve plate)
6. Electric/manual actuator
The electric/manual actuator plays the role of controlling the opening and closing of the valve plate, and is mainly composed of a power switch and a motor.
