The anti-corrosion work of the ridge ventilator on the roof must be done well, which is directly linked to the service life of the gas building. The service life of a good steel roof ridge vent is almost equal to that of the building. However, in order to do a good job of anti-corrosion work on the ridge vents, four basic requirements must be met:
(1) The surface of the ridge ventilator must be derusted. If the steel surface is not completely derusted, it will leave a layer on the steel surface. Rolled iron oxide scale. Peroxide skin is the product of high temperature corrosion, mainly ferroferric oxide. The electric potential difference between Fe3O4 and iron and steel in water containing traces of salt can reach 0.26 volts. Rolling oxide scale in the water film will act as an external negative electrode, while pure steel will form a positive electrode. The anode and cathode are constantly being corroded, and the cathode is constantly being enlarged, and the derusting product breaks through the layer, so that the steel structure is also corroded. Therefore, a good roofing treatment is very important for a ventilated building, and the surface treatment quality should reach the Sa2.5 of the steel surface pretreatment specification before painting.
(2) Select and purchase qualified yellow flower polyethylene primer, intermediate paint and top coat.
(3) After each coat, especially after spraying, the next coat of paint should be sprayed after curing, and the thinner should be configured according to the correct proportion to ensure that the thickness of the layer can reach 150um.
(4) The finished ventilation building can only be shipped or installed within 78 hours.
