High-heat industrial factory buildings with large heat dissipation capacity can generally be installed with ridge ventilator to discharge the waste heat and humidity in the workshop. In order to ensure that the outdoor metal building ridge vents with different winds can maintain good ventilation effects, it is often necessary to install windshields on both sides of the roof ridge vent, and use the negative pressure on the back of the class to induce indoor hot air to be discharged to the outside of the factory. In order to better understand the ventilation effect of the ridge ventilator under different wind pressures, we compared the inlet and outlet wind speeds of the smoke vents under different aspect ratios and came to the following conclusions:
(1) The exhaust speed of the opening on the windward side of the smoke vents is slightly lower than that of the opening on the leeward side.
(2) Under the action of positive pressure, the front end of the opening on the windward side of the ridge ventilator enters into the skylight, but as the aspect ratio of the ventilation skylight increases, the negative pressure value at the opening on the windward side becomes larger, and the ventilation enters the skylight. The air tower speed in the skylight becomes smaller.
