Steel roof ridge vent is installed on the industrial plant's roof to promote the circulation of air in the workshop. The quality of ridge ventilator is inseparable from the materials used. Good roof smoke vent materials can enhance the service life and provide enterprise customers with a better ventilation experience of the factory.
There are many materials to choose from in the selection of ridge ventilator. Mcwell mainly introduces two common materials for smoke vent skylights: color panels and fluorocarbon panels.
1. Color board
Generally, 0.5mm aluminum-zinc color-coated sheet is used as wind and rain-proof material for smoke vent skylights. The strength is 280Mpa, the amount of aluminum-zinc plating on both sides is ≥150g, and the thickness of the coating film is 22-25um on the front and 15um on the back. It is characterized by good corrosion resistance.
2. Fluorocarbon board
Fluorocarbon plates are generally more commonly used in high-corrosion plants due to their relatively high price. Fluorocarbon coating is made by dispersing polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) in a solvent in the state of tiny particles, and then sintering at a high temperature of 360-380°C to form a film. The coating can be used at -195 to 250°C for a long time, and its chemical resistance exceeds all polymers. Aluminum-zinc fluorocarbon color-coated sheet is currently a good anti-corrosion shielding sheet.
