1. Put the board in place according to the design drawing. Generally, the location of the annual frequency wind direction should be used as the starting point for the installation of roof ridge ventilator.

2. After determining the installation direction, install and fix the sealing plate at the end of the smoke vent skylight first, and then install the first plate in place and fix it, paying attention to ensure that it is perpendicular to the purlin.

3. When the second board is installed, it should overlap with the convex edge of the first board. Check to ensure that the outer edges of the two boards are in full contact and are straight. So as to ensure that the overlap is intact, and the self-tapping screw with sealing ring and the purlin are linked together.

4. Self-tapping galvanized screws are used to fix the color steel plate and the C purlin.

5. Whether the fixing is reliable or not is directly related to the number of connections, spacing, and link quality. It is also necessary to install a waterproof sealing material to ensure that there is no water seepage or water leakage between the boards.

The reliable overlap of the profiled metal plate on the support member means that the profiled metal plate is in contact with the support member through a certain length, and there are enough fasteners in the contact range to connect the profiled metal plate and the support smoke vent rooflight. The overlapping length of the color steel plate section of the outer protective plate, flashing plate, ridge tile, and gutter should be ≥200mm. In order to improve the weather resistance of the overlapped part, apply two coats of weather-resistant mortar on the overlapped part, and then fasten it with a self-tapping screw or rivet with a sealing ring, with a spacing of ≤300mm.
