2. Requirements for setting up smoke-proof zones
2.1. According to the characteristics of smoke diffusion, if the distance between the exhaust outlets is too far, the smoke will quickly settle in the smoke prevention zone and cannot be discharged in time, which will seriously affect the safety of personnel evacuation. The distance between the smoke exhaust vent, electric smoke vent rooflight and the farthest smoke exhaust point shall meet the requirements of national regulations.
2.2. During a fire, the smoke rises to the top of the building and gathers in the smoke storage bin formed by the smoke blocking wall, beam, etc.
The automatic opening vents of the smoke exhausting plant must be opened at the top of the smoke exhaust area or within the height of the smoke storage bin on the outer wall.
