Working Principle
The roof smoke vent is ventilated according to the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor. Usually, there are mechanical equipment production and operation in the factory every day, or the heat emitted by some smelting and heating workshops when working, will increase the indoor temperature, so the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor is relatively large. The density of high-temperature gas is relatively low, so it will continue to rise, and will eventually be exhausted by the ventilation and smoke exhaust skylights. So the indoor air pressure is relatively small, the outdoor air will compensate for the indoor air, thus completing the ventilation.
The factors which affect the ventilation volume of roof smoke vent:
1. The accessories occupy the space of the hole
The space occupied by various accessories for installing natural ventilator in industrial plants is the main factor affecting ventilation. The larger the space occupied by the accessories, the smaller the effective ventilation area per unit length. For example, the frame and rain plate in the streamlined window type; the upper, middle and lower three-layer rain plate, frame, base, and outer guard plate in the thin window type; the window, the upper sink, etc. The triangular window type will also affect the effective ventilation area of the roof ventilation skylight, thereby affecting the ventilation volume.
2. Throat size
For same window type, if the installation process is same, the larger throat size will have greater ventilation.
