As a kind of common factory roof lighting and ventilation equipment, electric roof lighting and smoke exhaust ventilator has a wide range of applications. Among them, the lighting materials of the smoke ventilator is mainly composed of PC sun panels, FRP lighting panels and safety glass. Today Mcwell will briefly introduces the difference between PC sunshine board and FRP daylighting board.
1. Structure composition
The PC sunshine panel in the roof electric lighting and smoke exhaust ventilator is a polycarbonate hollow panel, and its surface is co-extruded with an anti-ultraviolet UV coating. FRP daylighting board is a composite daylighting material composed of high-performance top film, reinforced polyester resin and glass fiber.
2. Performance difference
Light transmittance: The light transmittance of both FRP daylighting panels and PC hollow solar panels can reach 80%, but the permeability of PC solar panels is stronger and there is no haze. Because the FRP daylighting board is a composite material, the glass fiber in it blocks the line of sight, and the resin itself has a slightly poor light transmittance, so the lighting performance of the smoke ventilator using the FRP daylighting board is slightly worse.
Insulation: The heat transfer coefficient of FRP daylighting board is 0.4w/m.k, while the heat transfer coefficient of sunlight board is 0.2w/m.k. At the same time, because of the hollow interior of PC sunshine board, its insulation performance is better than FRP daylighting board.
Flame retardancy: The PC sunlight board material itself is a B1 flame retardant material, while the resin material in the FRP daylighting board is a flammable material. Even if flame retardant materials are added to improve its flame retardancy, it is difficult to reach the B1 level standard.
Temperature adaptability: The applicable temperature of PC sunshine board and FRP daylighting board are both -40℃-120℃. In this temperature range, neither of them will appear softening or embrittlement, and the mechanical properties will not change.
