The roof smoke vent is a kind of ventilation and smoke exhaust equipment installed on the roof of the workshop. Longitudinal skylights installed at the ridge are called ridge ventilator, and skylights installed transversely perpendicular to the ridge are called sloped roof skylights. These two arrangements are often said, and they can be combined in two ways.

1. The difference between the two layouts

Conventional factory buildings generally have only one roof ridge, so there is usually only one roof smoke vent arranged at the roof ridge. The length is generally equal to or slightly shorter than the length of the workshop. The throat size of the ventilation roof skylight is larger, generally more than 3000mm. This can effectively expand the indoor ventilation and smoke exhaust area. The sloping roof skylights are installed on the slope of the roof, and are generally arranged on the left and right sides of the slope. The spacing of each ventilation and smoke exhaust skylight is the same, and the length of the skylight can be long or short. The throat size of the downhill ventilation skylight is generally not large, and the common sizes are 600mm, 700mm, 800mm, 900mm and 1000mm.

2. Layout of common smoke vent skylights

The arc-shaped lighting and ventilation skylight of the large throat can be arranged along the slope or on the ridge. For example, the MCW4 type ventilation skylight is usually arranged along the slope, and the mcw5 type ventilation skylight is usually arranged along the roof ridge; the small throat ventilation skylight is generally arranged along the slope evenly on the roof slope; Combination arrangement is required; electric lighting and smoke exhaust skylights are often arranged along the slope.
