The Difference Between Horizontal And Longitudinal Roof Smoke Vent

Release time:

The lighting, smoke, exhaust and ventilation skylights installed on the roofs of industrial plants can be made into different types of skylights according to different uses and arrangements. The roof smoke vent on the steel structure industrial factory buildings can be arranged horizontally or vertically.

The horizontal roof smoke vent refers to the factory skylight arranged horizontally on the roof. The installation direction of this type of skylight is perpendicular to the ridge of the factory building and parallel to the slope of the factory building. Therefore, it can also be called a slope roof skylight, and it can also be installed across the roof ridge. layout. For factories with large plant area, choose to install down-slope ventilation skylights, so that the lighting, ventilation and smoke exhaust of the plant are more uniform.

Longitudinal ridge ventilator is arranged longitudinally on the factory floor, and are directly installed on the ridge of the industrial plant, also known as roof ridge ventilation skylights. Generally speaking, the throat width is larger than that of the slope ventilation skylight, so this type of skylight has better ventilation and smoke exhaust performance, and is suitable for steel structure workshops with high requirements for ventilation and smoke exhaust functions.

The smoke exhaust skylights of the two types of industrial plants can be customized in various sizes to meet the different needs of industrial plants. For specific technical parameters, please refer to the National Standard Atlas 11CJ33 "Ventilation and Lighting Skylights".
