However, due to the different working conditions and actual needs of each workshop, the design and selection of roof ventilation skylights should be based on the actual situation. Some factories will use electric smoke ventilator, and some factories will install opening type natural ventilator, so what's the difference between the two ventilators?

1. Electric smoke ventilator
As can be seen from the name, the electric opening and closing type smoke ventilator is controlled by electricity, because this kind of factory skylight is equipped with an electric valve plate, which can control the ventilation and smoke emission of the ventilation skylight. In areas with cold winters such as Northeast China, the valve plate can be opened in summer to achieve ventilation and reduce the temperature in the workshop; the valve plate can be closed in winter to keep the workshop warm.
2. Opening type smoke ventilator for lighting and ventilation
Since the open-type lighting and ventilation skylight is not equipped with an electric opening and closing valve plate, it can realize 24-hour continuous ventilation for the workshop and ensure a good working environment in the workshop. The flashing board of the electric lighting and ventilation skylight adopts FRP lighting board with high light transmittance, which can provide stable and lasting natural light source for the workshop. It does not have a heat preservation function and is often used in areas where the winter is not too cold in the south.
Generally speaking, the unit price of electric open-close ventilation skylights will be higher than the unit price of open skylights. Which type to choose depends on the actual situation of the factory and the purchase budget.
